Easter 2012

Easter this year was wonderful. It was spent with family and friends. Most importantly it was filled with love and lessons on our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Eliana did get an Easter basket. Her basket contained a magnifying glass, frisbee, stickers and a couple eggs with chocolate inside.

Eliana was most excited about her magnifying glass, or as she called it her "vestigator," and immediately asked if she could "go vestigating outside." I told her she had to wait until after church and lunch. Needless to say, when we finished our lunch Eliana promptly grabbed her "vestigator" and yelled at me to come outside with her "to vestigate." I'll let the pictures show you how fun it was.
Here she is "vestigating" the plants for bugs.
Running to find something to "vestigate"
Checking out the beautiful dandelions

Marco came to join us and Eliana made sure he had a dandelion for the picture as well.

Eliana investigating the flower. I love her face in this. :)
Eliana was teaching me how to walk and dance at the same time
Pretending to be rhino's by using a thorn from the rose bush.

Again reading with her papi. I love the love you see in her face as she looks at her papi.
