the beginning.

i thought i would actually use this blog i've created. to warn you, i'm not very good at keeping things like this up but i am going to try really hard to actually keep people updated on my life - even if it is little insignificant things. 

for those of you who don't know, although i'm sure you all do, i got married to the love of my life last year, July 14. it was even better than i thought i could be and was so grateful to all who came to share in our joy. 

married life is pretty much what i thought it would be like. no surprises there although there were little things we had to get used to about each other. i think i have done a pretty good job on my part, such as making sure i am dry BEFORE i step on the bath mat. i found out from marco that tragic things can happen to ones socks if the bath mat is wet. needless to say, i have become very adept at balancing myself on one foot as i dry the other without slipping and causing my towel to become more wet than necessary. i must say that is a pretty big accomplishment. i can't think of anything marco had to get used in regard to me as i am perfect as you all know and EVERYTHING i do makes sense. :) 

about four months into our marriage we had another little addition to our family. his name is seymour and is definitely the best beta fish in the world. thanks to josh and candy, he has an amazing home to live in. he really makes me happy and unfortunately i have not yet been able to teach him that he should not play with his food. i haven't really figured out yet how to train a fish to do things (or not do things, i guess.)

i can't think of anything else to write about at this moment in time, although i promise to be back at some point. adieu for now!
