On Saturday, June 21, Marco took me on a day date. It was really fun and I really appreciated all the thought he put into it. The date consisted of Marco driving me down to the Balboa pier (where we found free parking, yes!) and we rented some beach cruisers (only $10 a bike for 1 and 1/2 hours) and cruised down the coast almost all the way to Huntington Beach. I had to turn around because my toucus couldn't handle riding it all the way there and then back to Balboa. We saw some pretty cool things on our ride as well as some interestings things. One being a really old drunk guy roller blading, listening to music and thinking he was at a roller skating rink with all the moves he was throwin' out there. After we turned our bikes in we walked to the shore and put our feet in the very cold water. The sun was really burning that day so we decided to spend some time sitting in the shade and eating our pringles and raspberry newtons. I started to get really hungry and we decided to go eat. The plan was to eat at Sharky's (Sharkies?) but it was a little too crowded so we at the Spaghetti Factory. It was pretty awesome. We had this little two person table with this big plush throne chairs to sit in. I really enjoyed it and my food was WAY better than Marco's (at least i think so:) ). After dinner we headed home. It was a really great day. Here are some pictures for you to check out.
Marco trying to take a picture of the two of us with our bikes. i think it turned out pretty good.
A nice guy saw Marco trying to take a picture of us and says "Your arms are a little to short for that, here let me do it for you." So we did. :)
My bike was cooler than Marco's.

Yay for day dates! Good job, Marco! And I'm just going to take your word for it about your bike being cooler; you didn't show us Marco's. :)
Sounds like so much fun!
